Here at Little Green Llama we are committed to safety and satisfaction. We ask that each customer clean their rental items according to manufacturers instructions prior to return, and then we conduct another thorough disinfectant and clean prior to being dispatched to our next customer. As per our rental agreement, it is required that each renter disclose any damage to the equipment that they have noted. Upon return and prior to going to the next customer, we always complete a condition of equipment inspection in which we look for any safety issues and disclose any safe imperfections to the next renter. If safety issues are found we will provide you with a different piece of equipment or issue a full refund.
For the safety of all the children these items are to serve as well as the longevity of our products, we do not rent our items out to households that smoke indoors. Our Terms of Service state that the Renter agrees to keep the items in a smoke-free environment, both indoors or in a vehicle. If there if evidence of smoke then the Renter is responsible to bring it back to the original condition through professional cleaning, or replacement. Our equipment may be rented to families who have pets. Any damage caused by the pets or otherwise during your rental is the Renters responsibility to repair or replace. Though equipment is cleaned twice (prior to return and then by us prior to renting again), if anyone in your household has severe allergies to pets then we do not recommend renting our products in case of a reaction.
Unless delivery is arranged you are expected to pick up your items from our business location at 42 Lake Street, Mallorytown Ontario. At this time we offer free delivery within 15km (by road) which includes but is not limited to Athens, Mallorytown and Lyn. For this option please write in your address and state delivery in the comment box when checking out. We offer further deliveries and pick-ups for a fee based on your location and availability. These deliveries can be added to your cart separately from your products. If you reside between 16-50km of us there is a flat rate fee of $15/delivery and this can be paid at checkout. If you would just like drop-off please add 1 delivery to your cart, and if you would like both drop-off and pick-up please add 2. If delivery is farther than 50km from our location please still add this to your cart for tracking, but arrangements for delivery will be based on availability and payment will be made separately, calculated at a rate of $15 for the first 50km plus $0.50/km for each additional kilometer.
You may cancel your rental at any time by contacting us at the email below, using the form on our Contact page, or by responding to your confirmation email through the Rentle booking system. Bookings cancelled one week or more prior to rental date will receive a full refund minus any applicable credit card fees, or full store credit. Store credit is given to bookings cancelled within one week of rental agreement. No refund or store credit is given for no-shows.
If you have already begun your rental term and decided that you are not needing the item as long as you had committed to, you may be able to end the agreement early by contacting us. Minimum service agreement payments (i.e. minimum term to rent, often 2 days, 1 week or 1 month) must be paid in full, and a refund for early return is calculated using the same cancellation terms stated above. If the early termination is communicated to us one week or more prior to the next rental period beginning the renter will receive a full refund for the period they are cancelling minus any credit card fees. If it is within one week of the next portion of the rental agreement then store credit would be given for that portion. Rentals may be extended dependent on availability which can be checked in our Rental Shop online under the item calendar (just make sure that nothing is in your shopping cart already to see the calendar).
The way the Rentle Shop system works does not allow for various rentals beginning on different start-dates to be made in the same booking. If you would like to book multiple items for the same pick-up or delivery, that can be done even if they will be rented for different periods of time. You will notice that after you select the rental period for your first item on the calendar, that all subsequent rentals will automatically begin on the same date. If you would like to book different items ahead of time, you unfortunately will have to complete separate bookings for each start date.
We accept either payment by credit card (Mastercard or Visa) or debit card at time of check-out. We also have a Pay on Pickup option in which we accept Interac E-transfer. Following checkout you will be contacted and asked to send the e-transfer promptly to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your booking is not complete until payment is received and the items will only be held for 48 hours without payment. Payments can be made with Little Green Llama Gift Cards by checking the Pay on Pickup option. You will be contacted to arrange payment, and you can provide proof of Gift Card via email. Any remaining balance will be made via e-transfer.
If you are unable to load the Rental Shop on your device there are a few fixes that we suggest you try. First of all, check pop-up and cookie permissions on your device as this website links to a 3rd party for the shop. Clear your cache and stored data and try again. Trying to view the page on a desktop has been most successful.
